An implantable arc designed to flatten the anterior corneal curvature, without disturbing the visual axis, to correct certain corneal-related visual disorders. The medical device is a plastic arc, of about 150 degrees, that is inserted into the cornea via an intrastromal channel. It is typically available in sizes from 0.250 to 0.450 mm.

The Inlay Inserter Chuck Handle is used in conjunction with the Inlay Inserter to extend the length of the device for ease of use while delivering the Raindrop® Near Vision Inlay. The Inserter Handle has three components: the handle, the sleeve, and the chuck.

The Raindrop Near Vision Inlay is a biocompatible hydrogel corneal inlay. It is designed to be implanted under a femtosecond laser flap onto the stromal bed of the cornea, centered over a light-constricted pupil. The Raindrop Near Vision Inlay reshapes the central region of the cornea to provide a zone of increased power for focusing on near objects, resulting in improvement in near vision. The Raindrop Near Vision Inlay is supplied steam sterilized and pre-loaded in its delivery device, the Inlay Inserter. It is for single-use only.
