ECG TRIGGER - A battery powered instrument used to acquire an ECG signal from a subject. The instrument filters and amplifies the patient's ECG R-wave, then sends the signal to a parent device via and optically isolated interface cable. The output signal can be used by the parent device to synchronize another event with the subject’s R-Wave. The waveform is NOT used for analysis or diagnosis due to the ECG signal filtering.

SEGMENTAL CUFF SELECTOR - A pneumatic valve system for interconnecting a cuff inflator to one or multiple blood pressure cuffs. The cuffs can be deflated completely with the valve(s) of the pneumatic valve system, separately from the cuff inflator.

DOPPLER AND PLETHYSMOGRAPH SYSTEM - The line-powered instrument contains a direction-sensing continuous wave Doppler, a photo plethysmograph, and a pneumo plethysmograph. Several types of diagnostic tests can be performed allowing the user to choose the most appropriate one for the particular study of interest. A built-in two speed chart recorder can record the waveform from the selected instrument mode. A digital output is included so waveforms can also be captured in computer software.

An analog meter on the front of the instrument indicates the signal level and is calibrated in % Volume Change for strain gauge applications. ARTERIAL INFLOW SYSTEM - Measures arterial inflow in the extremities using the principle of venous occlusion plethysmography. The system uses software to combine strain gauge plethysmography, rapid cuff inflation, and optional R-wave heart beat detection and invasive blood pressure to measure the arterial inflow rate in one or two limbs simultaneously.

AIR SOURCE; 220V - An AC powered device used to create and supply compressed air to the Hokanson E20 Rapid Cuff Inflator.

100V - A cuff inflator for rapidly inflating blood pressure cuffs to a preset pressure, and for rapidly deflating blood pressure cuffs. The pressure is adjustable, and is set by the clinician according to the needs of the specialty vascular study being performed.

PNEUMO PLETHYSMOGRAPH - An instrument which uses any size of blood pressure cuff as a sensing cuff to record volume changes in limbs and digits, sometimes called Volume Pulse Recording (VPR) or Pulse Volume Recording (PVR). The instrument plugs directly onto the a chart recorder for power, and to print volume waveforms. The instrument can be AC or DC coupled for different peripheral vascular diagnostic applications.

SOFTWARE INTERFACE BOX - An electrically-powered hardwired interface between one or multiple physiologic devices and a connected computer with dedicated physiologic software. The interface receives waveform and pressure data and formats the data before sending it to the computer. The interface also receives signals from the computer to activate a connected physiologic device. The device does not store data after it is sent to the computer.
