The Integra PyroCarbon PIP is indicated for use in arthroplasty of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint when the patient has soft tissue and bone that can provide adequate stabilization and fixation under high-demand loading conditions after reconstruction, and when the patient needs a revision of a failed PIP prosthesis, or has pain, limited motion, or joint subluxation/dislocation secondary to damage or destruction of the articular cartilage. This set includes proximal and distal trials to evaluate proper size and fit of the implants. Instruments are included for assistance.

The Ascension MCP is indicated for use as a total joint replacement of index, long, ring, and small finger metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints that exhibit symptoms of pain, limited motion, or inadequate bony alignment secondary to articular destruction or degenerative disease related to rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, or post-traumatic arthritis where soft tissue reconstruction can provide adequate stabilization. The set includes proximal trials, distal trials, and silicone trials to evaluate the size and fit of the appropriate implant. Instruments are included to assist with the trials.

The Ascension silicone PIP is an anatomically designed, single use, one piece, flexible hinge prosthesis designed to be implanted without bone cement across the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint. It is made from medical grade silicone elastomer. The proximal and distal stems of the prosthesis are pre-flexed to match the approximate natural flexion position of the joint when the hand is relaxed. the PIP provides 90 degrees of flexion from full extension. The Ascension PIP finger joint prostheses is intended for cementless replacement of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint where disabled by rheumatoid, degenerative, or traumatic arthritis.
